#166 | ‘What is my Purpose as a Feminine Essence Woman?’ (Wild Horse Awakening)- Q&A with Anna Rova
About This Episode
Welcome to the special Q&A episode where I provide feedback, insights, and thoughts to questions that I receive from my coaching clients and my listeners. This particular question is from my CLAIMED group program participant Bonnie. Bonnie has posted this question in our Facebook group board and has received a lot of good feedback from other women in the group. In this episode I will touch deeper on the idea that she has brought up!
“It’s a wonderful vision of how I prefer my life to be. A lack of imposed stress, deadlines, business politics. My heart smiles thinking about that life…Is it possible to stay in flow in the presence of work deadlines, striving to be profitable for the company and “winning” arguments? Does it just take practice or am I fighting a losing battle. The dichotomy between these two lives couldn’t be more obvious. Can they coexist happily?”
“Hi Ladies. The other day while writing my morning pages (really been enjoying this practice if you haven’t tried it), I started to go into a very feminine space thinking about what life would be like if I didn’t “have to work” and I had more freedom. I know that’s not a positive way to look at it, but I’ve questioned my career before, even when I was in a more female dominated industry, and I’m constantly wondering what my true calling IS. Questioning if I’ll ever have the guts to find out or really try. My mind started wandering thinking about what a good life would look like for me and all of these random, traditionally “un-productive” desires started bubbling up. I was wondering if any of you have had similar thought paths? Here is an excerpt from my rambling thoughts:
“Listening to one of Anna’s podcasts with a woman who is completely in her flow. She mentioned that if a woman ‘does not feel joy or get joy out of her work, she’s in the wrong place.’ Literally sometimes all I want to do is read books outdoors, feel the sun, rain, breeze on my skin. Listen to birdsong. Listen to live music. Step out of myself and help other people in need. Make good and healthy choices. Possess more energy and contentment. Touch and kiss and make love to my man. Share intimacy and intimate conversations with him. Cook good food and watch the sun set by the ocean. Smile and laugh. Keep in better touch with friends & family. Do what I can to help Earth and the environment. Appreciate my body, arms and legs and all that they do for me. Expand my brain with knowledge of all flavors. Stay calm and collected in the face of adversity or challenge. Feel lovely in my own skin. Travel more to other cultures and immerse myself in new traditions. Grow things in the Earth and relate more personally to her. Contribute art and poetry to the collective tribe. Make things beautiful. Raise a loving family with my husband.
How does one turn all of that into a sustainable way of life? To me it sounds like a receiver of a trust fund with no monetary care in the world. It’s a wonderful vision of how I prefer my life to be. A lack of imposed stress, deadlines, business politics. My heart smiles thinking about that life. I don’t feel creative or courageous enough to make it a reality and still make enough money to live comfortably. Is it as simple as embodying those desires OUTSIDE of work hours? And somehow managing not to let work demands stress me out? Is it possible to stay in flow in the presence of work deadlines, striving to be profitable for the company and “winning” arguments? Does it just take practice or am I fighting a losing battle. The dichotomy between these two lives couldn’t be more obvious. Can they coexist happily?”
